Electronics Materials Lead

JOB SUMMARY:

Managing and overseeing all the functions of the “Power Products” storehouse and ensuring smooth operations of all PDU materials activities (receiving, storage, and kitting). An individual of this profile also will manage the electronics materials team. The Materials Lead also responsible in processing PDU RMA units and shipping MRB materials. The Materials Lead will be actively involved in a “hands-on” manner with all activities associated in the warehouse management and operational improvement.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Supervising the functions and assignments of the all warehouse workers.
  2. Managing the inventory monitoring, cycle counts and conducting audits of same to validate results within our ERP system.
  3. Developing efficient material tracking and material movement processes to provide seamless support to manufacturing, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  4. Optimize and supervise the material kitting and staging operations.
  5. Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
  6. Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment such as scales, fork trucks, etc.
  7. Ensure all materials transaction are properly transacted within ERP.
  8. Must become familiar with product line BOMs and operation processes.
  9. Perform diligently Continuous Improvement Process and 6S practices.
  10. Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures of working.
 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  2. Willing to work overtime and Saturday as needed.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of the safety and legal documentation processes for handling related warehousing activities.
  • Should have excellent leadership and administration skills and abilities.

  • Ability to effectively manage time, resolve crises and decision making.
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal (Electronics Operations Group) and external workers of the company
  • Able to operate forklift or willing to take certification if not
  • Familiar with ERP/MRP system; EPICOR knowledge is a plus

Senior Buyer-Planner

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs various purchasing assignments of considerable complexity to procure equipment, services, parts and supplies necessary for the operation of the organization. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices and selects and recommends suppliers. Verifies delivery dates, approves payment and maintains necessary records. Develops solutions to difficult problems requiring analysis and action plans. Makes practical application of customary practices, procedures or techniques. Interfaces with suppliers, immediate supervisor and other personnel within the Company.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Independently analyzes demand, decides quantity to buy and negotiates purchases of inventory materials up to $40k per MRP.
  2. Places PO’s for inventory and non-inventory items and follow up as required to assure an adequate material supply.Plans, schedules, monitors and reports on activities related to the project/Program including activity definition and sequencing, resource estimating, duration estimating, schedule development, and schedule control activities.
  3. Assures an uninterrupted supply of material while maximizing inventory turns.Facilitates status review meetings among project team members and clients. Works with senior management on product development Programs proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
  4. Leads company-wide key supplier relationships.Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and Project/Program Management techniques.
  5. Leads company-wide commodity responsibility.
  6. Resolves quality and delivery problems.

Sr. Program Manager, Operations

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Program Manager will serve as the Core Team leader providing management and cross functional coordination for key product development projects. Serving as the Core Team leader, the role will require driving the development schedule, project monitoring, control, team integration, change integration as well as managing budgets and coordination amongst the many disciplines involved in the product development process. As an integral part of the Global Operations Team, cross-department collaboration with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and other employee-owners will be paramount to both the Program Manager’s and the various project’s success. Responsibilities include overall project governance and direction, and implementing course corrections as needed.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  2. Determines, monitors, and reviews all project/Program economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, sub-contractors, resources, and risk. Sr. Industrial Design Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Chatsworth Products is focused on turning good ideas into exceptional products. As a Sr. Industrial Design Engineer, this role will serve as the core architect of Industrial Design, and be a key member of our innovation team. This Designer will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Customers. Daily duties will include conceptual design development, 3D CAD modeling in SolidWorks, photorealistic renderings, animations, plastic and metal part design. This Designer will regularly present “High Level” ideas to management and project teams. This role will involve managing multiple concurrent projects of varying difficulty and the creation of compelling designs based upon ideation, brand, research, and product requirements. This role will report to the Director of Engineering and will work closely with cross department teams including Product Management, Marketing, and Manufacturing. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Create innovative, and compelling designs based on Research, Product Development Requirements, Manufacturability, and Market use.
  2. Strong understanding of design principles
  3. Experienced in plastic and metal part design (drafts, slides, gates, parting lines…)
