"Amidst a challenging and ever-changing industry, CPI has proven to be a strong competitor and a resilient innovator. Motivated by core company values, the employee-owned CPI posted growing market shares, a broader distribution network, excellent brand recognition and consistent overall performance. Its Business Development Strategy places them as one of the key competitors in the market," stated Frost & Sullivan Industry Manager, Vishal Sapru.

CPI is committed to providing customers with customized products and not simply what is available. This dedication is demonstrated through CPI’s initiatives to create products based on specific customer requests, and opportunities to co-develop products with market leaders such as Cisco, Corning Cable Systems and other high-tech equipment manufacturers. “As end-users continue to adopt newer, faster and denser rack-mount equipment, rack requirements vary widely, and customized solutions are becoming the norm. CPI offers next-generation design tools which are available in-house and to customer’s online, making the process as smooth as possible for the development team and the whole experience seamless to the customer,” explained Sapru.

In addition, Frost & Sullivan recognized CPI’s tight manufacturing controls to maintain ISO 9001:2000 certified production facilities, which helps guarantee superior specifications and top-quality products. These efforts are illustrated through numerous design patents, products that meet Electronic Industries Alliance/Telecommunications Industry Association (EIA/TIA) standards and a large selection of UL® Listed solutions. CPI’s growing list of association memberships strengthen the company’s enthusiasm toward product develop and market growth. Some of these memberships include The Green Grid, AFCOM®, ASHRAE, TIA and BICSI Platinum-level status.

“The employee-owners of CPI are honored to be selected by Frost & Sullivan for this award,” said Michael Custer, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for CPI. “Our core purpose is to delight the customer, and that means listening and delivering what customers value most. It is also very gratifying to have a leading independent global growth consulting company recognize our company culture as inspiration for our focus on quality, enhancing the customer experience and business innovation. We work every day to earn our place of special value with customers, if there's something you need, chances are CPI has it . . . if we don't have it, there is an even better chance we can build it for you.”
