CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, announces the availability of the new QuadraRack™ 4-Post Frame.
The stable design of the sturdy QuadraRack™ 4-Post Frame supports more weight than many steel cabinets-2000 to 2200 lb-providing a cost-effective solution for supporting rack-mount network equipment such as hubs, concentrators, routers, and switches as well as storing extra deep and/or heavy shelf-supported equipment and supporting rack-mount servers. The QuadraRack 4-Post Frame offers unconstrained access for simplified equipment installation and cabling as well as unrestricted airflow for improved cooling and heat dissipation. The open frame construction makes cabling and cable management easy. Without cabinet walls to inhibit access, moves, adds and changes are readily accomplished. Unrestricted airflow means equipment will not be subject to the excessive heat sometimes generated in a closed cabinet environment. QuadraRack is available in 19" width and 7', 8' and 9' height.
The unique, patent-pending Extension Pan set provides structural integrity and easy assembly. The top and bottom Extension Pans provide the supporting structure between the two sets of rack channels. The pans are self-squaring and attach to the existing holes in the rack channels (previously used to attach the top and base angles). The top Extension Pan has been specially designed to allow mounting of cable runway directly to the top of the frame utilizing the optional J-Bolt Kit, or CPI Rack-To-Runway Plate.
Combine the QuadraRack™ 4-Post Frame with the industry's largest selection of cable management, shelves, and seismic protection products to create the perfect solution to almost every computer and communications network structural support requirement you may have.
