CPI offers four styles of vertical cabling sections to be used along the full height of your rack.

Evolution™ Cable Management  – state-of-the-art cable managers for managing high-density cabling applications 

  • Evolution Cable Managers are available in four styles:
    • Single-sided
    • Double-sided
    • Combination (T-shaped guides in front, cable rings in rear)
    • Horizontal
  • Evolution Vertical Managers are available in a variety of heights, depths and widths
  • Evolution Single-Sided Horizontal Cable Manager is 19" EIA x 8.2" deep (208 mm) and available in 1U, 2U and 3U heights
  • Distinctive look matches CPI TeraFrame® Family of Cabinets for a single aesthetic in showplace data centers
  • Improved T-shaped cable guide design decreases deflection; rounded edges protect cables
  • Vertical manager door opens to right or left with single knob; horizontal manager has snap-on cover
  • Rigid vertical manager trough minimizes movement when installed on the end of a row or racks; full rectangular base supports heavy cable bundles
  • Openings in the back of vertical managers allow cables to pass easily front-to-rear
  • Vertical managers feature panels that support various optional cable management accessories to divide the interior space and manage cable slack
  • The panel on double-sided vertical managers are movable and allow for flexibility in the volume of cable management space
  • Three large cable distribution spools are included with each 10", 12" and 15" wide (250 mm, 300 mm and 380 mm) vertical cable manager (will not fit in other sizes)
  • Wide variety of accessories include cable and fiber management products, floor brackets and back, mid and side panels

MCS Master Cabling Section  – a heavy-duty system for major installations

  • Patented cable guide fingers at 1 RMU intervals for easy management of patch cords
  • UL 94V-0 fire-rated composite materials for use in plenum areas
  • Sturdy, reversible aluminum SwitchGate Door/Cover with handle included
  • Four widths (4.4”, 6”, 10” or 12”), a variety of heights (5’6” through 9’), and single-sided (8.08”D or 10.62"D) or double-sided (16.15”D or 21.23”D) to suit your needs
  • 288 to 1,052 Cat 5e cable capacity (with 40% fill) per side
  • Edge-protected pass-through ports and vertical slots to secure cable with optional Saf-T-Grip® straps on double-sided versions
  • Preassembled for easy installation and a more cohesive appearance
  • CPI’s most sturdy vertical cabling section for high-profile applications
  • Also available in larger, higher capacity version called MCS-EFX Master Cabling Section with Extended Fingers

VCS Vertical Cabling Section  – for simple organization of large cable bundles

  • Open trough with spin-latch closures at 12” intervals
  • Narrow or wide (3.65”W or 6”W), a variety of heights (5’6”H through 9’H) and single-sided or double-sided (6.38”D or 12.75”D) to suit your needs
  • 230 to 385 Cat 5e cable capacity (with 40% fill) per side
  • Pass-through ports and vertical slots to secure cable with optional Saf-T-Grip® straps on double-sided sections
  • A variety of finishes to match your racks
  • Preassembled for easy installation and a more cohesive appearance
  • Open design for general applications

CCS Combination Cabling Section – the benefits of VCS and MCS combined

  • Double-sided combination cable manager with patented cable guide fingers at 1 RMU intervals in the front and an open trough with spin-latch closures at 12” intervals in the back
  • UL 94V-0 fire-rated composite materials for use in plenum areas 
  • Mountable on racks with 3”D or 6”D channels
  • Sturdy, reversible aluminum SwitchGate Door/Cover with handle included for front of CCS
  • Four widths (3.65”, 6”, 10” and 12”), a variety of heights (6’ through 9’) and three depths (12.24”, 14.61” and 14.94”) to suit your needs
  • 185 to 695 Cat 5e cable capacity (with 40% fill) on the rear side; more capacity on the front side
  • Edge-protected pass-through ports and vertical slots to secure cable with optional Saf-T-Grip® straps 
  • Preassembled for easy installation and a more cohesive appearance
  • Combination system that allows more cable organization in front and larger bundling in back
  • Also available in larger, higher capacity version called CCS-EFX Combination Cabling Section with Extended Finger

  • Split , two-piece vertical design to reduce shipping size and cost
  • Single-sided unit with easy expansion to a double-sided system
