BICSI is a professional association supporting the information transport systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies. Through courses, conferences, publications and professional registration programs, BICSI staff and volunteers assist ITS professionals in delivering critical products and services, and offer opportunities for continual improvement and enhanced professional stature.

CPI is proud to be a BICSI Prestige Corporate Member and actively participates in the following: BISCI Standards Committee (BSC), Technical Information and Methods Committee (TI&M), Data Center Subcommittee, and Bonding and Grounding Subcommittee.

BICSI Prestige Corporate Member (PCM) Program is a supplement to standard corporate membership by offering three different accreditation tiers for manufacturers, distributors, contractors and consultants.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world's largest developer of standards. It is a network of the national standards institutes of 157 countries and is a non-governmental organization. Many of its member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government, while other members have roots uniquely in the private sector. Therefore, ISO is able to act as a bridging organization in which a consensus can be reached on solutions that meet both the requirements of business and the broader needs of society.

Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) independently tests and certifies products for safety. UL evaluates more than 19,000 types of products, components, materials and systems annually with 21 billion UL Marks appearing on 71,000 manufacturers’ products each year. UL’s worldwide family of companies and network of service providers includes 66 laboratory, testing and certification facilities serving customers in 104 countries.

The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) serves as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities, representing the top government, industry, and military professionals in the fields of information technology, communications, and intelligence. AFCEA, a non-profit international association, is dedicated to supporting global security by providing an ethical environment that encourages a close cooperative relationship among civil government agencies, the military and industry.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) founded in 1894, is an international organization of 55,000 members. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education. 

CPI is a member and active participant in Technical Committee TC9.9 addressing Mission Critical Systems.

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is the leading trade association for the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. As co-owner and co-producer of NXTcomm™, TIA serves ICT suppliers to global markets through its leadership in standards development, domestic and international policy advocacy, and facilitating member business opportunities. TIA represents the communications sector of the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA).

CPI is a member and active participant in the Telecommunications Engineering Committee and sub-committees under TR-42.

The Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC) is an international organization of voice and data communications professionals who serve clients in business, industry, service organizations and government.
