Bill Watts Bill Watts, Senior Data Center Architect
Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI)

Bill Watts has 25 years of Mechanical construction/contracting experience utilizing air and water cooling mediums.  For the past eight years Bill was responsible for Data Center design and building standards at Intel Corporation for their global data centers.  In 2003 Bill was instrumental in developing the advanced passive cooling techniques incorporated in CPI cabinet solutions.  Bill was a featured speaker at multiple industry conventions and Intel DC Summits and Instructor for data center power and thermal solutions and modeling.  Bill’s mission is to employ emerging mechanical applications with IT requirements to create a successful solutions for air based cooling.

 
Brian Donowho Brian Donowho, Senior Product Manager
Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI)

Brian Donowho has been with CPI for 10 years, spending time in Manufacturing Management as well as Product Management.  He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University and an MBA from Indiana University.  Brian has spent the last five years developing thermal management solutions for CPI’s Cabinets and Racks in data center applications and is currently engaged in developing improved cable management solutions for CPI’s data center customers.

 
Fernando Reyna Fernando Reyna, RCDD, Field Applications Engineer

Fernando Reyna has been with CPI for more than five years, and possesses more than 14 years of technical experience in the voice and data industry. Fernando provides technical advice and service on CPI product applications and acts as technical liaison between key end users (Fortune 500 companies), company product managers, engineers and new product development teams. In addition, he regularly presents seminars focusing on data center cooling and the economic benefits of using passive cooling technology to solve thermal management issues.

   
Ian Seaton Ian Seaton, Technology Marketing Manager

Ian Seaton has over thirty years of product development experience in electro-mechanical systems. He serves on the BICSI standards committee responsible for the new data center design manual as editor of the rack and cabinet section and as a thermal consultant to the mechanical working group. He teaches BICSI accredited data center thermal management courses. Ian has written and spoken extensively on data center thermal management over the past 7+ years. He has a masters degree from California Polytechnic State University and is currently the Technology Marketing Manager for Chatsworth Products.

 
John Thompson

John Thompson, RCDD, Field Applications Engineer

John Thompson has more than 20 years of technical experience in the telecommunications industry and has been a BICSI-certified RCDD since 1997.  As a contractor, John owned and operated a structured cabling installation company in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Before recently joining Chatsworth Products,  John was a consultant for a special systems design firm in Baltimore, MD that teamed with architects, MEP firms and worked directly with end users.   In addition to assisting with AutoCAD design, John not only developed new construction specification documents but served as a project manager for healthcare and higher education facilities projects across the United States.

   
Scott Cordell

Scott Cordell, RCDD, Field Applications Engineer

Scott Cordell has more than 22 years of technical experience in the voice, data, broadcast video, and data communications market. Scott provides technical advice and service on CPI product applications and acts as technical liaison between key end users (Fortune 500 companies), company product managers, engineers and new product development teams. In addition, he adds technical expertise at tradeshows and presents seminars, focusing on data center cooling and the economic benefits of using passive cooling technology to solve thermal management issues.

   
Steve Bornfield

Steve Bornfield, Senior Data Center Consultant
Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI)

Steve Bornfield worked at Intel Corporation for over 20 years holding various roles in facilities, wafer factory support and then IT with Data Center of the future designs. Steve was recognized as a Staff Technologist and has supported much of the Fab manufacturing sites with clean room construction and airflow management.  While employed with Intel, he became an expert in the latest state of the art cleanroom design and construction, which he is now bringing into Data Centers.  Mixing this with his more than 25 years of construction experience, Steve is driving many new cutting edge ideas and changes to data centers.  Steve’s vast background in mechanical and electrical construction as well as instrumentation will benefit CPI’s approach to “Simply Efficient” data centers.
