N-Series TeraFrame® Network Cabinet - Cisco Compatible Configurations

Several N-Series TeraFrame® Network Cabinet configurations have been tested and approved by Cisco Systems, Inc. as meeting all requirements for effectively mounting 9509, 9513, 7010, 7018 and 6500 Cisco Switches.

The N-Series TeraFrame Network Cabinet is designed to manage side-to-side airflow in a hot aisle/cold aisle layout by using CPI's Passive Cooling Solutions. The N-Series TeraFrame's unique Network Switch Exhaust Duct removes hot air by isolating and re-directing it out the back of the cabinet and into the hot aisle, minimizing hot air re-circulation and essentially converting side-to-side airflow into a front-to-rear airflow pattern. By running the entire height of the cabinet, one Network Switch Exhaust Duct supports ventilation requirements for side exhaust network switches, providing the freedom to organize and move equipment as needed. Serving as a complete and cost effective solution for high-density applications, this passive cooling solution allows customers to maximize energy efficiency by including no active components to increase maintenance cost and compromise redundancy, while decreasing total cost of ownership.

N-Series TeraFrame

45 RMU x 1025 mm D x 800 mm W
Two pairs of square-punched mounting rails, zinc plated steel with RMU marks on both sides
Single perforated metal front door and double perforated metal rear door; both are offset to provide extra interior space
Two solid, keyed side panels that are offset to provide extra interior space around equipment for enhanced side-to-side airflow and additional cable managment
Network Switch Exhaust Duct supports two Cisco switch chassis
Top Panel consists of five panels with numerous cable knockouts
T-shaped cable guides are installed on right forward frame for RMU-aligned cable management
Includes leveling feet and floor anchor brackets. Caster Kit available as an accessory
Grounding and bonding kit included
ROHS-compliant hardware
Black powder coat paint
Load rating: 2500 lb (1134 kg) on leveler feet
