CPI is now an American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education Systems Provider

July 21, 2011

AIA ImageWith a membership of more than 80,000 licensed architects and associated professionals, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is the nation's leading professional organization on the education, government advocacy, community redevelopment and public outreach of the architecture industry.

Its esteemed reputation within the design, consultation and engineering industries also positions the AIA as an important element in many new and existing data center installations and upgrades, more often known to the IT industry as the ACE community - architects, consultants, engineers.

That's why Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) is thrilled to announce that we are now an Approved AIA Continuing Education Systems (CES) Provider for all members wishing to establish and maintain state licensure and certification by earning Learning Units (LU) throughout each calendar year.

As an official AIA CES Provider, Chatsworth Products can now offer two separate courses (one LU each) for members of the AIA community wishing to attend CPI technical seminars. The two course we'll be offering are:

  • The Economics of Air Flow Management in the Data Center (Course #AIACPI61101A)
  • Which Data Center Economizer is Best for You? (Course #A1ACPI61102A)
For AIA members needing to fulfill their annual 18 LU requirement for the year, these new CPI courses not only offer professional development, they provide architects the opportunity to learn more about one of the fastest growing and most rewarding career tracks on the market today - data center design an construction.

Best of all, AIA members can begin earning these credits immediately! That's because the AIA-designated courses offered here will now be a part of CPI's ongoing Data Center Efficiency Technical Seminar Series (next stop: Dallas on June 22). Be sure to visit the seminar webpage to register and get more information on all upcoming dates and locations.

We look forward to educating architects on various data center best practices while learning much in return from this knowledgeable group. Now that's a blueprint for success! Jeff Cihocki, eContent Specialist
