Sustainability Summit May be Headed to a City Near You

March 10, 2009

Sustainablity-Summit-Logo.jpgThe joint WESCO/CSC Sustainability Summit kicked off last Thursday in Chicago and will be continue throughout the year in nine cities across the country. Communication Supply Company (CSC), one of CPI’s key distributor partners, works closely with CPI to bring CPI products to customers throughout the United States. Chatsworth Products, along with 30 other companies who share the same green and sustainability vision as CSC and WESCO, will be at each of the events.

The Summit features several key note speakers including, the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, Board Vice-Chair, Chicago Chapter of the United States Green Building Council, AT Kearney, Inc.—one of the world’s top consulting firms helping companies gain and sustain competitive advantages. To find out more or to register visit CPI’s seminar web page.

According to CSC Website, the aim of the summit is to offer customers who are interested in implementing a green strategy the resources, tools, and product solutions that focus on data centers and lighting technologies. CPI’s Passive Cooling Solution perfectly aligns with this vision. I had the opportunity to personally explain the solution and its advantages to many of the attendees in Chicago. Attendees included data center leaders, facility managers, key contractors, architects and consultants and other stakeholders who are interested in taking cost out of the business operation.

There are nine remaining summits scheduled for 2009. These include:

  • Apr 23 - Phoenix, AZ
  • Jun 18 - Houston, TX
  • May 14 - Dallas, TX
  • Jul 16 - New York City, NY
  • Aug 20 - Boston, MA
  • Sepr 17 - San Francisco, CA
  • Oct 15 - Denver, CO
  • Nov 12 - Los Angeles, CA
  • Dec 10 - Washington, DC

If you are interested in attending one of these events, visit CPI’s seminar web page for registration information. If you are unable to attend but would like to know more about how CPI can help manage power consumption in your data center, contact your local CPI Sales Manager.
