Power Boot Camp Prepares Troops for Power Management Applications

October 29, 2010

Blog-Power-Bootcamp.jpgWhen it comes to the products and services we offer, Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) consistently strives to better educate ourselves, our customers, distributors and other partners in the field. In doing so, our goal of “delighting the customer” becomes a daily routine built on acquiring expert knowledge and in turn, sharing that knowledge with the world.

One such product area in which CPI is taking the lead is that of Power Management. By offering a wide range of basic to high-end Power Distribution Units (PDUs) to an advanced power management tool, Scalable Enterprise Management Application (SEMA) software, CPI’s ability to not only power your data center, but give you complete control of that power is helping organizations worldwide lower energy costs while maximizing efficiency of valuable IT equipment.

What makes it all possible? Knowledge. And where do we get that knowledge? Training. Just when do we get that training? Constantly! In fact, many CPI employees are currently taking part in a comprehensive, multi-day “power boot camp,” in which everything from the fundamentals of electricity and power distribution are explored, experimented with and ultimately understood from the inside-out.

Through this training, experts in Tech Support, Customer Service and Sales get the opportunity to learn power fundamentals while receiving valuable hands-on experience performing IP configurations, utilizing SEMA and solving various customer application problems.

Whether you’re on the fence about basic, metered, monitored or controlled PDUs, need a horizontal power wedge with 24 C-13 receptacles or just plain need better power management, you can rest assured that CPI is doing everything in its “power” (okay, that was too easy!) to bring you total satisfaction and peace of mind with our service.
