Celebrate the Twelve Days of Christmas, Day 10: Power Strips

December 19, 2008

Celebrate the holidays with CPI’s “The 12 Days of Christmas Solutions” for your data center. Each topic will feature a unique solution to meet your data center needs.

On the 10th day of Christmas my CPI Value-Added Reseller provided me ...®

Don’t forget the power.

We all love to see the sparkle in a child’s eyes as they look at the bright lights and decorations in the city square, on a neighbor’s home, or even the Christmas tree in our own homes. The lights and decorations in our home, workplace, and community bring a special touch to the holiday season. Most everywhere we turn there are lights twinkling? If you follow the cord for each string of lights, you will find that it connects to a power source.

Power StripsPower is also needed in every data center. Chatsworth’s Power Management Products are designed to fully integrate into a CPI Rack System or Cabinet and Enclosure System, delivering electrical power to support a wide array of active equipment.

Power Management Products provide safe, efficient distribution of power. CPI has a large variety of sizes and configurations available to meet almost any need. Power strips provide a large number of outlets without consuming RMU space, while being compact and easily attached in any rack-mount environment. Higher voltages that can be handled by PDUs are available to protect critical equipment from power outages and other power line disruptions.

Just as we arrange ornaments on our holiday trees, power products can be included on equipment racks and cabinets with hardware brackets. Install multiple power strips on open two and four-post racks. Adding power to a cabinet, CPI’s QuadraRack™, or any other EIA standard rack product is a breeze.

CPI has a variety of Power Management Products in sizes and configurations to fit most applications. All CPI power strips are UL Listed for your safety. Chris Kline, Regional Sales Manager.
