Chatsworth Products (CPI) provides a variety of tools and support services to help architects, consultants and engineers with the information they need to implement a state-of-the-art data center that meets all construction requirements and goals.

Here are six way to propel your proposal to a winning opportunity:

BIM Models

Building information modeling (BIM) projects can speed up completion and improve labor productivity, thus reducing final construction spending. At no cost, CPI offers an extensive library of BIM files to help design professionals plan and draft an ideal installation. These Revit Models from Autodesk Seek® are built to meet the most recent standards of BICSI, Autodesk® Seek RMCSG and others.

Pro tip: Be sure to also take a look at our other free design tools, such as CAD Blocks to lay out an equipment room, or the cable fill values for a variety of CPI cable management and runway products.

Custom Configuration

The CPI Product Configurator allows you to create custom products and systems according to your application requirements. Once built, the Configurator will present a total list price, rendered drawings and offer a selection of distributors or global resellers. Email

Expert Services

CPI also offers one-on-one assistance to help customers develop data center projects that integrate standard or customized CPI products into a total design approach, delivering dramatically lower operating costs and data center optimization. Services include:

  • Field Expert Site Visits: CPI field experts meet with you on-site to evaluate requirements and discuss product and solution options.
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis: Using state-of-the-art 3D software, CPI provides simulation and analysis of data.

OSHPD Pre-Approved Products

When planning installations in a seismically active region, you can reduce the OSPHD approval cycle by obtaining CPI products that have received the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) Pre-Approval of Manufacturer's Certification (OPM). CPI also holds Pre-Approval of Anchorage (OPA) numbers and for several of our IT infrastructure products.

MasterFormat® Specifications

CPI provides all the documentation necessary to find minimum composition requirements and installation methods for a variety of products. MasterFormat's Division 27 specifically addresses communications construction, providing specifications and instructions for areas such as data, voice, audio, video, cabling, enclosures, grounding and bonding.

Patents and Awards

CPI has received numerous patents for its groundbreaking product designs, as well as multiple awards by prominent national organizations in recognition of its business philosophy and employee-ownership structure.
