GEORGETOWN, TX—Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, announced that select models of its award-winning MegaFrame® Cabinet Systems now carry the Underwriter's Laboratory (UL® )Listed seal of approval for product safety. The UL listing assures that the MegaFrame Cabinet System meets an industry common measure which provides users a level of safety and protection for electrical components.

Meeting the needs of data and telecommunication environments by offering maximum mounting flexibility, the MegaFrame Cabinet System is shipped fully assembled. However, a patented corner attachment bracket allows for a partially assembled configuration which results in very easy onsite assembly.

The MegaFrame Cabinet System features built-in field adjustable cable management and the ability to support standard, universal, and specialty vertical mounting rails. An aluminum top panel featuring six edge-protected punch-out ports allows cables to easily be routed from overhead while the open base allows raised floor cable entry, exit and interior top to bottom ventilation. MegaFrame cabinets are available in 19" or 23" standard EIA rack widths and with removable side panels when baying multiple cabinets. The Cabinet has a static load rating of 1,000 lb and is made of aircraft-grade aluminum. This UL listing includes MegaFrame cabinets in all standard widths and depths and in heights ranging from 48 inches to 84 inches.

Quick-release doors can easily be oriented to open to the left or to the right. For thermal management, the door options include perforated metal or vented plexiglass while solid plexiglass or solid metal door options provide a secure environment for valuable hardware components.
