(CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, announces the availability of its 32" Deep MegaFrame® Sliding Shelf. Keeping ease of access, maintenance and troubleshooting in mind-while maintaining valuable surface space-the new shelf offers a built-in easy-slide feature to extend and retract the unit. The shelf's movement is facilitated by a uniquely efficient undercarriage belt, composed of an UL94V-2 rated polycarbonate material, and easily accommodates cable bundles of up to 1.00" in diameter.

Offered as another key accessory to enhance the industry-favorite MegaFrame cabinet product line and designed with CPI Style in mind, the Deep Sliding Shelf addresses cable storage in an efficient, simple and aesthetically pleasing manner. Requiring only a screwdriver to assemble, the shelf includes a cable management mechanism that extends and retracts more naturally than other hinged shelving solutions currently available. The shelf's cable management mechanism does not take up additional rack space; and cables do not kink, twist or become cut in the process of shelf extension and retraction.

Made of strong, heavy gauge aluminum, the shelf has an excellent load-to-weight support ratio of 6 to 1. The 25 pound shelf can support up to 160 pounds while taking up less than 2 RMU (1 RMU=1.75") of space. The shelf extends a full 32" and locks in the closed or fully extended position using easily accessible front lock levers. The shelf is offered in two dimensions: 19" W x 32" D with a 52" L cable management belt and 23" W x 32" D with a 52" L cable management belt. Cables can be quickly added with a simple flip of the eight molded clips attached to the shelf's belt.
