WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - October 2006 - Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a leading manufacturer of systems designed to organize, store and secure IT infrastructure equipment presented Tony Awtonomow, the CPI HUMMER H3 Sweepstakes winner with a 2006 HUMMER H3.
Tony Awtonomow, the lucky winner of CPI's HUMMER H3 Sweepstakes was awarded his new HUMMER on Oct. 6, 2006, during a celebration at CPI's Georgetown, Texas facility. Tony registered for the Sweepstakes at CPI's booth in January at the 2006 BICSI Winter Conference in Orlando, Fla. He said that he sat in the HUMMER on display during the Conference and thought to himself that there was no way he was going to win. When Tony was notified that he was the winner, he did not believe that it was real, Tony stated, "When I actually saw the vehicle and was given the keys it became truly real to me, I have never won anything of this caliber before; it is beyond exciting and still hard to believe."
Tony is the Director of Networking and Data Services for Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Fla., which uses a great deal of CPI Products. Initially Brevard Community College became aware of CPI Products through Anixter, who trained them on the products and applications available from CPI. "For as long as I can remember we have been using CPI Products, almost all of our communication rooms contain CPI Rack Systems, Cable Trays, Cable Management and Grounding and Bonding Products. Year after year we continue to use CPI Products because they are of extreme quality. About ten years ago Brevard Community College went through a huge growth spurt, many new buildings were coming online and it was again decided to install CPI Products in their new communication rooms. "We have never needed anything to support our equipment or cabling that CPI does not already provide," stated Tony. Not only does Tony rely on CPI Products at work but he has also installed one of our Rack Systems in his home to support his television and sound system equipment.
Hewlett HUMMER of Georgetown, Texas was present at the celebration to show Tony all of the features on his new vehicle, display additional HUMMERs and enjoy the festivities. CPI's HUMMER H3 Sweepstakes ran from January 2006 through July 2006 and centered on the tagline "Keep Your Data Center Humming and let CPI put you in the Driver's Seat."
