January – Wireless LAN Access Point Enclosure from Oberon Receives Physical Security Innovation Award
Oberon, a division of CPI, was awarded Physical Security Innovation of the Year with its Wi-Tile™ Access Point (AP) Enclosure solutions from UK-based Data Centre Solutions (DCS) Awards.
Understanding the need to integrate security and effective design into its portfolio, Oberon designed the Wi-Tile collection as a set of Wi-Fi access point (AP) ceiling enclosures that provide security without compromising connectivity.

February – CPI’s New ZetaFrame™ Cabinet Combines Innovative Features to Deploy Infrastructure, Faster and Efficiently
In response to increasing densities and a need for rapid deployment, CPI introduced the ZetaFrame™ Cabinet. This highly-engineered data center cabinet solution also delivers quick turn built-to-order configurability, industry-leading load capacity and scalability, suited for a wide variety of infrastructure applications.

March – In Response to a Desire for More “How-To” Resources, CPI Creates Technical Tip Documentation
Over the years, there as been an increasing demand for self-teaching resources and “how-to” documentation. In response, CPI created several technology tips that offer comprehensive how-to’s and best practices for industry professionals across all applications.

June – Chatsworth Products Celebrates 30 Years of Employee Ownership and Sustained Global Growth

May – CPI’s Canadian Office and Showroom Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary
Each year, the Canadian office has been grateful to welcome hundreds of visitors, even offering virtual tours during uncertain times. And while we eagerly await the day when in-person customer visits will once again be the norm, it's nonetheless exciting to be able to say that through customer support and shared successes, CPI is continuing to grow business in Canada, too.

August – CPI and Oberon Receive Awards for Innovations in Data Center and Wi-Fi Access Point Enclosures
CPI and Oberon were formally recognized by Cabling Installation & Maintenance (CI&M) with individual 2021 Innovators Awards for feature-rich, future-proof data center and Wi-Fi enclosure solutions in the Distribution and Routing Equipment category. The Gold Innovators Award was presented to Oberon’s In-Plane™ 1018-00 Wi-Fi Access Point Enclosure, a practical and reliable solution to mount and conceal Wi-Fi access points (APs). CPI’s newest data center cabinet storage solution, the ZetaFrame Cabinet, is recipient of this year’s Silver Innovators Award.

September – Efforts Continue to Ensure Free, Online BICSI Training Courses Offering Free CECs Are Available to IT Professionals
Every year, CPI releases and renews several learning modules and trainings that help IT professionals continue to grow and enhance their knowledge and skill set. These trainings cover everything from bonding and grounding best practices to how to prepare your network for emerging technologies to proper seismic installation. October – Construction of New CPI Headquarters in Simi Valley Progresses
First announced in June 2021—the same month that CPI officially celebrated 30 years of employee ownership—construction of CPI’s new global headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Simi Valley, CA, continues to advance. In October, as the company also celebrated ESOP month, major milestones included an impressive concrete pour of new space on the manufacturing floor, which has been captured via time lapse. You can look forward to seeing this and for more updates to come soon!

November 2021 – Instagram Followship Reaches Over 2,200
It’s exciting to see engagement continue to rise on all of CPI’s social media platforms, including CPI’s popular Instagram feed, which recently surpassed 2,200 followers.
