CPI to Present at Upcoming KyotoCooling Seminar in the Netherlands

March 07, 2012

On March 27-29, Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) will take part in the latest KyotoCooling® Seminar in the Netherlands, with CPI’s Global Technology Manager, Ian Seaton, delivering a presentation on "Optimal Cooling in Cabinets."

KyotoCooling is of course the oft-talked about thermal management solution that uses a rotary wheel air-to-air heat exchanger to cool data center air without using a compressor, thereby resulting in energy savings of up to 85 percent over other designs.

BendBroadband Vault data center feat. CPI solutionsHaving built a strong reputation for reliability and cost savings across Europe (Baltic Data Center of Lithuania) , KyotoCooling paired with CPI solutions is now making a name for itself stateside, positively impacting innovative new data centers for the State of Montana and most recently, the BendBroadband Vault in Oregon (seen at right), which has now earned the prestigious honor of being Energy Star and LEED® Gold Certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and Tier III Certified in both Design and Facility by the Uptime Institute™.

Late last year, Chatsworth Products joined the State of Montana in hosting the first-ever United States KyotoCooling Conference, where guests enjoyed a full-scale tour and demonstration of the state’s data center and its implementation of KyotoCooling paired with a variety of CPI solutions. This included the deployment of CPI Passive Cooling® Solutions and the incredible cost savings that result from pairing CPI’s exhaust heat isolation with KyotoCooling’s innovative rotary wheel.
