Quick Guide to Protecting Network Equipment in an IoT World

May 07, 2019

RMR_FREESTAND_APPLIC_GT.jpgIT teams are now deploying edge networks as they prepare for the impact of emerging technologies and the exponential growth of the connected objects of the Internet of Things (IoT). As a result, these teams are also responsible for deploying equipment for nontraditional or harsh environments: “the edge.” This requires a basic understanding of special industrial enclosures, cooling systems and cable entry methods that protect equipment from exposure to dust and liquid.

In response, Raissa Carey, CPI’s Public Relations Specialist and Technical Writer, authored a new article published in April 2019 in Mission Critical Magazine titled, “Preparing for an IoT World,” that focuses on how to protect and support network equipment in the age of IoT.

If you are preparing to extend your network to the edge, are adopting IoT or simply want to learn more about how to prepare for emerging technologies, read the full article today.
