Highly Appraised, “Architecture vs. Airflow” Returns for Data Center World Fall 2013

September 20, 2013

Ian SeatonWhich containment is most efficient and what factors affect efficiency in your data center?

This debate has finally been settled.

If you want the answer to the question and information on how to successfully align containment and airflow to your business needs, then you can’t miss “Architecture vs. Airflow: How Containment Strategies Stack Up to Facilities’ Challenges,” which will be presented by CPI’s Global Technology Manager, Ian Seaton, at Data Center World Fall 2013.

According to the thermal management guru, it’s been determined that there’s no efficiency advantage for one form over another. “Therefore, a decision regarding containment choice can rest on other architectural and business variables,” he explains.

Seaton’s popular presentation drew a standing room only crowd at the Data Center World Spring Conference in April, requiring a second presentation the following day. Now attendees of the Fall conference can take advantage of a third presentation being held Thursday, Oct. 1, at 9:00 a.m.

With more than 30 years of electro-mechanical product development experience, including thermal products for multi-tenant office HVAC controls, automotive environmental controls, and aerospace applications, Seaton is a highly-esteemed speaker at conferences. He’s been guiding CPI’s operations for more than 15 years.

In addition to Seaton’s presentation, don’t miss out on the opportunity to have hands-on interaction with our Cold Aisle Containment Solution (CAC), eConnect Power Distribution Units (PDUs), as well as the new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) products from GE Critical Power.

All of CPI’s products will be displayed in our new standard color, Glacier White. This color has been an attention-getter during many events, not only because of its sleek, modern appearance but also for being highly reflective, which provides better visibility and, in turn, reduces power usage.

Data Center World Fall 2013 takes place in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 29 – Oct. 2, at the Orlando World Center Marriott. For more information, click here.
