September 2002 - Manage Network Patch Installations with CPI's 'CCS Combination Cabling Section'

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, announces the availability of the new CCS Combination Cabling Section, an innovative new product that cultivates the best of the company's popular Vertical Cabling Sections.

Incorporating the plastic cable guides used on CPI's MCS Master Cabling Section on the front, the rear retains the classic Vertical Cabling Section (VCS) design. This means that bundles of cable can be easily routed into the open Cabling Section on the rear and into the back of patch panels.

The front of the Cabling Section provides fanning and managing of patch cords through the use of 1 RMU spaced cable guides. As an added feature, the depth of the CCS Combination Cabling Section has been specifically designed to minimize offset from the rack channel edges so that cables gently transition into the Cabling Section without sharp turns, bends or kinks; maintaining high performance copper and fiber optic cable bend radii. Design includes a Switch/Gate Door Cover (front) that can be easily configured for right or left opening (or removed) and edge-protected pass through ports for routing cable from front to back. Available in 6', 7', 7'6", 8' and 9' heights in 3.65", 6" and 10" widths with two styles-for 3"D rack channel or 6"D rack channel. The Cabling Sections and SwitchGate Cover/Door feature a black powder coat textured finish to minimize fingerprints and smudges.
