January 2003 - CPI Introduces Finger Snaps Cable Guides Quick Attachments for CPI Cabling Sections

CHATSWORTH, Calif. —Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, announces the availability of the new Finger Snaps Cable Guides, a quick and easy solution for routing cable directly into CPI cabling sections.

A unique, patent-pending design provides the critical cable guides needed to transition from the horizontal pathway into a CPI cabling section: VCS (Vertical) or CCS (Combination) Cabling Sections. The cable guides retrofit into one 10" increment of the CPI cabling section (between lockable cabling latches). Extra-wide and contoured cable guides allow smooth movement of the cable and provide strong support. The 1 RMU spacing between guides provides effortless transition of cable into the CPI cabling section, virtually eliminating the need for horizontal cable managers and cable bundling.

Finger Snaps Cable Guides install quickly and easily by simply removing the existing plastic edge guards from the cabling section, aligning the Finger Snaps, and pressing into position. Finger Snaps Cable Guides are manufactured from resilient plastic material that meets UL 94V-O Flame Resistant standards. Available in a package of 2 or box of 12.
