GEORGETOWN, TX, June 2003—Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, announces the release of its new SlimFrame™ Cable Manager.

CPI, a leader in providing innovative cable management for open and closed mounting systems and cable support products, introduces an efficient, simple, and aesthetically pleasing solution for cable management in the 24"-wide cabinet. Making clever use of the 'dead space' between the cabinet's side panel and frame, the SlimFrame Cable Manager eliminates the need to sacrifice quality vertical cable management when deploying data equipment cabinets on 24" raised floor tiles and is the perfect enhancement to the well-received SlimFrame C-Series Cabinet System.

The cable manager includes two vertical mounting brackets, eight cable rings, control radius, and hardware kit. Mounting brackets can be attached to the horizontal mounting rail in three positions - increasing flexibility for on-site customization. U-shaped cable rings can be detached from or added to the mounting brackets easily allowing for more versatility in cable routing. Rounded edges of the rings protect cable sheaths, reducing the risk of cable snagging and damage. Additionally, a control radius insures the proper bend radius is maintained in cables entering the cable manager from outside of the cabinet, decreasing the risk of data distortion or data loss.
