Cold Aisle Containment, PDU technology and cable management during the BICSI Canadian Conference and Exhibition. CPI, a global manufacturer providing voice, data and security products, as well as service solutions that optimize, store and secure technology equipment, can be found in Booth # 407 during this biennial event, held April 29-May 2.
As pioneers of
passive cooling technology, CPI is at the forefront of aisle containment solutions that deploy innovative cooling techniques through data storage cabinets that have been designed for optimal airflow. This concept can be seen firsthand during the BICSI Canadian Conference, where CPI will install a cold aisle solution using two F-Series TeraFrame® Cabinets and a sleek double door at the end of the containment row. This display marks the first exhibition of CPI’s standard Cold Aisle Containment System, which can increase cooling efficiency by 3x and broaden the air temperature envelope with 4x higher heat and power densities. Also available at CPI’s booth will be the popular Evolution® Cable Management System and a sneak peek of its upcoming eConnect™ family of intelligent PDUs.
Once the exhibit hall closes on Monday, April 30, many BICSI attendees are expected to leave for an invite-only event known as The EDGE® of an Evolution World Tour Party. Featuring CPI’s own rock band, Bent Metal, and co-hosted by Corning Cable Systems and Anixter, this concert offers music lovers an experience that’s unlike any other. Known for injecting classic hits with their own approach of customized and unique lyrics, Bent Metal is expected to amaze audiences once again as they transform songs like Prince’s “Purple Rain” into “GlobalFrame®” and Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” to “Contractor Knocking.”
BICSI and The EDGE of an Evolution Party are the first of several Canadian-based events CPI has planned in the coming months. Also scheduled are the grand opening of a new office in Vaughan, Ontario on May 15 and the 2012 Data Center Power and Cooling Seminar Series planned for June 5, 7 and 12.
