WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.—Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a global manufacturer providing voice, data and security products and service solutions, will be conducting a seminar session and displaying new products at the 2013 FOSE IT Expo, May 14 - May 16, at Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington D.C.
Ian Seaton, CPI Global Technology Manager, will be presenting "How to Use Containment for Lowest Possible Data Center TCO." Seaton will discuss the distinctions between designing for comfort cooling versus designing for data center cooling, the key benefits of data center airflow containment and the differences and relative merits of the three primary styles of data center airflow containment. Seaton stated, "This session will list the benefits of containment and explain the economic impact on different data center design topologies." The seminar will be conducted Tuesday, May 14, from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Along with the presentation, CPI will feature several new products on the exhibit floor. Attendees will experience hands-on interaction with an F-Series TeraFrame® Gen 3 Cabinet System. This third generation F-Series TeraFrame features an enhanced frame design, new sizes and panels, easier equipment rail adjustment and smarter airflow management.
Also on display will be eConnect Power Distribution Units (PDUs). There are five models of PDUs: Basic, Monitored, Monitored Pro, Switched and Switched Pro. Each model includes numerous voltage and outlet options, quick and easy deployment, an ambient temperature rating that can support any HAC solution and a low-profile design that easily integrates into a cabinet's Zero U space.
Additionally, CPI will show Mini Modular Data Centers, which are scalable and mobile, allowing the ability to deploy computing capacity for high-density applications quickly. They are space and energy efficient, provide a safe and well-protected environment and manage power consumption.
