Description

PowerWedge Controlled Horizontal Rack-Mount PDUs Overview

The PowerWedge distributes power to multiple devices from a single power connection. The compact design provides 24 power connections in 1U of rack-mount space. Switched outlets allow remote power cycling and by-outlet current monitoring. Circuit breakers limit current to protect circuits from overload. Local and networked current meters provide easy current monitoring and a sensor port allows remote temperature and humidity monitoring with an optional external sensor. The PowerWedge also integrates with CPI’s Scalable Enterprise Management Application (SEMA) software providing real-time IP-based power monitoring across your entire enterprise network.

Key Features and Benefits
  • Size: 19” EIA x 1U x 28”D (711 mm), Black
  • For indoor use only in environmentally controlled areas
  • Power Cord: Attached, 10’L (3 m) not rated for plenum use
  • Circuit Protection: Magnetic (M) circuit breakers are in-line with each circuit segment
  • Current Metering: Digital ammeters with digital displays are in-line with each circuit segment
  • Current Monitoring:
    • 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet connection and (1) RJ-45 Serial Connection
    • Monitor PDU through the Ethernet connection using a web browser (http), CPI’s SEMA software or an application that supports SNMP v1
  • Controlled/Monitored Outlets:
    • Turn outlets on and off and remotely cycle power to equipment
    • Set initial power on and cycle delays to power multiple outlets on at user defined intervals
    • Monitor current use at each outlet
    • When used with SEMA software, you can report individual equipment power use and see a current limit that will prevent unused outlets from being turned on to prevent circuit overload
  • Certifications: UL Listed, NWGQ.E212076; FCC, ICES-003 Class B, CE Mark
  • Includes Rack/Cabinet Mounting Brackets:
    • Requires four-point (front/rear) support
    • Fits equipment mounting rails set 25” (635 mm) to 31” (787 mm) apart.
