Key Features of the 40159-019 Bonding Jumper
The 40159-019 bonding jumper delivers a robust grounding solution that meets stringent UL® standards. Designed as a surface mount jumper, it integrates seamlessly with cabinet frames to create a continuous low‑impedance path. This bonding jumper supports the reliable operation of critical data‑center equipment. Engineers select bonding jumpers to satisfy NEC and IEC grounding requirements in high‑density environments. The 9‑foot (2.7 m) length provides ample reach from rack structures to the telecommunications equipment bonding conductor. Using this product helps prevent stray currents and reduces the risk of equipment damage. Construction features a #6 AWG stranded copper conductor insulated in green with a horizontal yellow stripe for easy visual identification. A compression lug with two ¼‑inch bolt holes spaced on 5/8‑inch centers ensures a secure mechanical connection. All materials are UL‑listed, delivering confidence in long‑term durability. Installation is accelerated by pairing the jumper with CPI "L" brackets (part numbers 10001-001 or 10559-500). The jumper is available individually or in packs of ten, allowing flexible inventory management for large projects. Fast, repeatable installation reduces labor costs and shortens deployment timelines. CPI backs the bonding jumper with global availability and rapid customization to match specific project needs. Technical support and detailed spec sheets are provided to aid specification and compliance verification. Selecting this bonding jumper reinforces a safe, compliant grounding strategy for enterprise, hyperscale and edge data‑center deployments.
