Key Features of the Double‑Sided Master Cabling Section
The MCS Master Cabling Section Double-Sided provides a compact, high‑density solution for modern data center infrastructure. Its patented 1U‑spaced cable guide fingers keep patch cords organized while preserving clear airflow. The reversible aluminum SwitchGate Door with handle adds a sturdy, finished look to any rack. Designed for vertical cable management, the section aligns precisely with standard rack spacing, eliminating the need for separate horizontal managers. Edge‑protected pass‑through ports and vertical slots secure cables with optional Saf‑T‑Grip® straps. This vertical orientation maximizes usable space and simplifies future re‑configurations. Patch cord management is further enhanced by the double‑sided layout, which offers cable access from both sides of the rack. Each side can accommodate 288 to 1,052 Cat 5e cables at 40 percent fill, supporting dense network environments. The design reduces cable clutter and improves serviceability for technicians. The unit meets UL 94V‑0 fire‑rating requirements, making it suitable for plenum installations and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Its robust construction supports a wide range of rack cable management needs, from small server closets to large hyperscale facilities. The double‑sided configuration also provides a balanced appearance and uniform cable distribution. Integrating the MCS section into a data center is straightforward using CPI's design tools, including Visio stencils and CAD files. These resources enable precise planning and rapid deployment across enterprise, colocation, or hyperscale projects. The result is a clean, organized rack that supports reliable performance and future growth.
