Product Information
Installation Overview for the 1039‑COAP9136 Ceiling Kit
The Oberon® In-Plane™ Recessed Mounts 1039 kit provides a streamlined method for installing Cisco 9136 APs in suspended ceiling tiles. The steel‑galvanized tile bridge and wing‑nut trim create a flush, professional appearance while maintaining optimal wireless coverage. Installation requires only a cutout in a standard 24‑inch ceiling tile and the included support wire for secure attachment. Using the 1039x2 configuration, installers can deploy dual‑access‑point assemblies in a single tile to double network capacity without additional ceiling modifications. The recessed design minimizes visual clutter and protects equipment from dust and accidental impact. Quick‑release hardware reduces labor time and supports rapid upgrades. The ins‑1039 model complies with NEC 300‑22 and 300‑23 plenum standards, ensuring safe deployment in high‑airflow environments. All components are constructed from 16‑ga. galvanized steel for durability and resistance to sagging. The kit is compatible with both North American and European ceiling dimensions, offering global flexibility. Technical documentation, including a detailed spec sheet and step‑by‑step installation guide, is available for download on chatsworth.com. The product supports cable‑fill calculations through CPI's design tools, simplifying planning for dense deployments. Customers can rely on CPI's worldwide distributor network for prompt delivery and localized support. Because the Oberon solution is engineered for modularity, it can be integrated with other Oberon wireless enclosure accessories to create a cohesive ceiling‑mount system. The design promotes efficient airflow, helping to reduce cooling costs in high‑density data centers. CPI's expert consultation services are available to tailor the mount kit to specific project requirements.
