Product Information
Sealed Airflow Path and Adjustable Height
The vertical cabinet duct provides a dedicated, sealed pathway for hot air to leave the top of a ZetaFrame® enclosure, ensuring reliable airflow management. By directing exhaust directly to an overhead drop ceiling, it eliminates recirculation and supports consistent cooling performance. This solution is essential for data centers that demand high‑density equipment operation. Designed for cabinets with a depth of 41.3″ (1050 mm) or greater, the duct adjusts in height from 15″ to 20″ (381 mm‑508 mm) to match the space between the cabinet roof and the ceiling. The two‑piece construction allows quick installation and fine‑tuning without tools, accommodating variations in ceiling height. Compatibility with solid rear doors, bottom panels, and air directors creates a complete exhaust cabinet system. A brush‑sealed cable opening on the rear of the duct permits power and data cords to pass while maintaining the sealed airflow path. The flexible top seal conforms to uneven ceiling tiles, preserving the integrity of the exhaust cabinet design. This feature reduces the need for additional grommets or penetrations, simplifying cable management. The duct is fabricated from extruded aluminum panels with plastic corners and a durable black finish, offering corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance. An optional Glacier White finish is available to match cabinet aesthetics. The lightweight construction eases handling during installation while retaining structural strength. Implementing this vertical exhaust duct helps lower cooling costs by improving heat removal efficiency and supporting higher equipment density. It also enhances overall system reliability by preventing hot spots and supporting regulatory compliance for airflow containment. CPI's engineering expertise ensures the product integrates seamlessly with existing ZetaFrame® cabinets and data‑center architectures.
