Product Information
Duct Corners and Adjustable Height Enable Precise Installation
The vertical duct provides a direct path for hot air to exit the ZetaFrame® cabinet, enhancing overall thermal performance. Designed as a cabinet exhaust component, it works with existing rear doors, air dams, and air directors for a complete containment strategy. Installation requires only the supplied hardware, making deployment quick and reliable. Adjustable height sections allow the duct to span the distance between the cabinet top and the overhead drop ceiling, accommodating a range of ceiling heights. Integrated duct corners guide airflow smoothly around the cabinet's edges, minimizing turbulence and pressure loss. A brush‑sealed cable opening preserves the sealed pathway while permitting power cords to pass through. When paired with a drop ceiling duct system, the vertical duct creates a sealed loop that returns cooled air to the data‑center's HVAC infrastructure. This ductwork center point reduces recirculation of hot air, improving cooling efficiency and lowering energy consumption. The modular design supports future upgrades without replacing the entire airflow system. The solution supports high‑density deployments by maintaining consistent airflow across multiple cabinets in a rack row. By directing exhaust upward, the vertical duct helps prevent hot spots that can degrade equipment performance. This approach aligns with CPI's commitment to reliable, scalable thermal management. The vertical duct is engineered specifically for ZetaFrame® cabinets ranging from 31.5" W to 47.2" D and heights of 34"-60". Its aluminum construction with a durable plastic seal ensures long‑term durability in demanding data‑center environments. CPI offers global support and rapid customization to match any unique installation requirement.
