Product Information
Optimizing Exhaust Air Management with Vertical Exhaust Duct
The Vertical Exhaust Duct for ZetaFrame® Cabinet provides a sealed pathway for exhaust air to reach overhead drop ceilings, supporting effective thermal management in data center environments. By directing hot air away from IT equipment, it improves cooling efficiency and prevents recirculation. This accessory is a key component in comprehensive airflow containment strategies.
Featuring an adjustable height from 20 inches to 34 inches (508 mm to 863 mm), the duct accommodates various ceiling heights for flexible installation. A brush-sealed cable opening on the back allows power cords to enter the cabinet without breaking the airtight seal. Constructed from aluminum with plastic corners and seals, it ensures durability and long-term performance in demanding conditions.
Integrated with components like solid rear doors and air dams, the Vertical Exhaust Duct enables complete airflow containment to minimize hot and cold air mixing. This reduction in air bypass lowers the workload on data center cooling systems, leading to energy cost savings. Proper deployment helps maintain consistent temperatures and supports high-density computing applications.
Designed for ZetaFrame Cabinets with widths of 29.5 inches (750 mm), this duct fits cabinets that are 41.3 inches (1050 mm) deep or more, ensuring compatibility with standard configurations. The flexible top seal adapts to variations in drop ceiling heights, simplifying installation and enhancing密封. Easy height adjustment mechanisms allow for quick customization to site-specific requirements.
By optimizing exhaust air management, the Vertical Exhaust Duct contributes to reliable thermal management, extending the lifespan of critical IT infrastructure. This proactive approach reduces cooling costs and mitigates the risk of overheating in AI and high-performance computing environments. CPI's solution delivers robust performance for modern data centers seeking efficient cooling solutions.
