Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Load Capacity and Installation Features
Designed for the most demanding data‑center environments, the Z4‑11N‑1000‑E12 is a custom seismic cabinet system that leverages SeismicFrame® technology to absorb and isolate earthquake forces. The cabinet's square‑punched rails and solid side panels provide a rigid enclosure while maintaining a compact 78.7″ H x 23.6″ W x 41.3″ D (1999 mm x 599 mm x 1049 mm) footprint. Its Glacier White finish and standard top panel enable seamless integration with existing infrastructure. The Z4‑11N‑1000‑E12 supports a 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, plus an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling, which translates to an approximate 11n in kg for high‑density deployments. This capacity exceeds typical rack requirements, allowing dense server and network equipment to be housed securely. UL® Listed 2416 certification confirms a static payload of 3000 lb (1360 kg) when seismic forces are not applied. Each cabinet has been rigorously validated to meet GR‑63‑CORE seismic testing standards, specifically the Zone 4 criteria outlined in Telcordia Technologies GR‑63‑CORE Issue 4. The testing involved shaker‑table simulations that demonstrated the cabinet's ability to remain stable with limited movement during severe earthquake conditions. Compliance with these standards ensures that critical ICT assets remain protected and operational. Installation is straightforward: the cabinet requires only floor anchorage, eliminating the need for complex external bracing calculations. Pre‑drilled top attachment points simplify the addition of overhead pathways and bracing, while transport casters enable easy positioning during initial setup. Primary and secondary anchorage options provide flexibility for a range of floor conditions. Engineers can leverage CPI's digital design tools, including the CPI Product Designer, CAD and BIM files, to customize the Z4‑Series SeismicFrame Cabinet System for specific project requirements. The system's adjustable‑depth mounting rails accommodate a variety of equipment heights, and a full suite of thermal and cable‑management accessories are available. By choosing this SeismicFrame Cabinet, organizations gain a reliable, code‑compliant solution that supports future‑ready data‑center growth.
