Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Features of the Z4‑11N‑103E‑E12 SeismicFrame® Cabinet
The Z4‑11N‑103E‑E12 cabinet delivers a robust custom seismic frame cabinet solution for data‑center and tele‑communications environments. Built to the SeismicFrame® Cabinet System standard, it meets Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 requirements for extreme seismic activity. Its 40U footprint provides ample space for high‑density equipment while maintaining a compact 78.7″ H x 23.6″ W x 41.3″ D profile. Engineered to support a 1 500 lb (680 kg) seismic equipment load, the cabinet can also carry an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling and accessories. Independent testing by an ISO 17025‑certified laboratory confirms that the unit withstands simulated earthquake forces without permanent deformation. This capacity protects valuable servers, switches and power modules during an event. Adjustable‑depth mounting rails align with a wide range of equipment depths, enabling flexible configuration of modular switches and high‑density servers. Pre‑drilled top attachment points allow straightforward integration of overhead pathway bracing or cable trays. The double perforated metal rear doors and two‑point keyed/combination latch provide secure access while supporting efficient airflow management. Installation requires only floor anchorage, eliminating the need for costly external bracing calculations. Primary and secondary anchorage points give installers the choice to secure the cabinet directly to the slab or to a concrete pad. Transport casters are included to simplify positioning during initial deployment and later maintenance. CPI's digital design tools, including the CPI Product Designer and BIM models, streamline specification and integration of the Z4‑Series SeismicFrame® cabinet into any project. Global availability and rapid customization ensure the solution can be adapted to regional building codes and site‑specific requirements. Partnering with CPI provides ongoing technical support and access to a worldwide network of authorized distributors.
