Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Design Features and Installation Benefits
The SeismicFrame® cabinet is built to exceed the most demanding seismic standards, offering a 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load capacity that protects sensitive hardware during extreme events. Its square‑punched rails and perforated metal doors provide secure access while maintaining structural integrity. The design incorporates pre‑drilled top attachment points for easy integration with overhead pathways. Designed specifically for critical facilities, the enclosure meets Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations for hospitals, data centers, and other high‑risk environments. OSHPD OPM‑0112 approval further validates its suitability for health‑care installations. The cabinet's robust floor anchorage eliminates the need for costly external bracing calculations. The unit is UL‑Listed 2416 for a 3000 lb (1360 kg) static payload, delivering confidence in both seismic and non‑seismic load scenarios. Integrated grounding and bonding features simplify compliance with electrical safety standards. CPI's engineering guarantees that the cabinet performs reliably under both routine and extreme conditions. Installation is streamlined with a single‑point floor anchorage system that reduces labor and speeds deployment. Transport casters enable easy positioning during initial setup, and the adjustable‑depth mounting rails accommodate a wide range of equipment heights. Side panels are optional, allowing flexibility in space‑constrained deployments. CPI provides digital design tools, including CAD, BIM, and Visio assets, to help engineers customize the enclosure for specific projects. The CPI Product Designer lets users add accessories such as air‑containment modules and cable‑management kits. Expert consultation services are available to ensure optimal configuration for any data‑center or enterprise networking application.
