Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Structural Features and Load Capacity
The Z4-12N-113C-E12 is a robust seismic frame cabinet system designed for critical facilities that demand uncompromising protection. Built to the SeismicFrame® standard, it meets Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 testing and carries the UL® 2416 certification for static loads. Its 78.7"H x 31.5"W x 41.3"D (1999 mm x 800 mm x 1049 mm) footprint fits standard 40U data‑center layouts. Customers can configure a custom seismic cabinet system to match specific floor plans, cable‑management needs, and thermal solutions. The Z4 series offers factory‑installed accessories such as pre‑drilled top attachment points and transport casters for rapid deployment. Integrated grounding and bonding ensure compliance with OSHPD OPM‑0112 requirements for health‑care environments. The cabinet supports an industry‑leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load plus a 100 lb (45 kg) top load, making it ideal for high‑density deployments. Its square‑punched rails and adjustable‑depth mounting rails accommodate custom seismic frame cabinets of varying depths. Double‑perforated rear doors and a single‑perforated front door provide balanced airflow while maintaining seismic integrity. Installation is simplified through primary and secondary anchorage points that eliminate the need for costly external bracing calculations. Floor anchoring can be completed with standard hardware, allowing quick secure placement in multi‑tenant or hyperscale data centers where seismic cabinets are required. The design also supports optional overhead pathway bracing for added rigidity in seismic zones. Design engineers can download the full CAD, BIM, and Visio stencil packages to integrate the Z4‑12N‑113C‑E12 into building‑information models. CPI's online Product Designer and consultation services help tailor the solution to unique project requirements. With global availability and rapid customization, this seismic cabinet delivers reliable performance for today's AI‑driven and HPC environments.
