Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Considerations for Cabinet Installation
The Z4-21N-113C-E12 cabinet provides an industry‑leading 1,500 lb (680 kg) seismic equipment load, making it a solid choice for critical facilities that demand reliability. Its robust steel construction and pre‑drilled top attachment points simplify the planning phase for any data‑center project. Engineers appreciate the ability to mount additional cabling loads without compromising structural integrity. SeismicFrame® cabinets are tested to Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 specifications, ensuring they survive the most severe earthquake conditions. The seismic cabinet's dual‑point keyed latches keep doors sealed during vibration, protecting sensitive networking equipment. This rigorous validation gives operators confidence that their high‑value assets remain operational after a seismic event. A well‑executed cabinet installation begins with proper floor anchorage, which the Z4‑21N‑113C‑E12 supports through both primary and secondary attachment points. Transport casters enable easy positioning before the final anchoring is completed, reducing labor time on site. The installation process eliminates the need for costly external bracing calculations, streamlining project schedules. The system also offers a broad range of thermal‑management and cable‑management accessories that integrate seamlessly with the base cabinet. Adjustable‑depth rails accommodate diverse equipment heights, while perforated doors promote efficient airflow. Optional side panels and top panels provide additional protection and flexibility for future expansion. CPI backs the Z4‑Series with global availability, rapid customization, and comprehensive design tools such as CAD, BIM, and Visio stencils. Customers can leverage the CPI Product Designer to configure the cabinet with the exact accessories needed for their environment. Together with UL® listing and OSHPD OPM‑0112 compliance, the solution delivers peace of mind for any critical facilities deployment.
