Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Features of the Z4-22N-103E-E12 SeismicFrame® Cabinet
The Z4-22N-103E-E12 is engineered as a high‑capacity Network Cabinet that meets the toughest seismic standards. Its SeismicFrame® design provides 1,500 lb (680 kg) equipment load capacity and an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling, ensuring reliable operation in high‑risk zones. This robust construction makes it an ideal choice for critical facilities that demand uninterrupted service. Designed for modern Data Center Cabinets, the unit measures 83.9″ H x 31.5″ W x 41.3″ D (2131 mm x 800 mm x 1050 mm) and offers 43U of usable space. Square‑punched rails and adjustable‑depth mounting options accommodate a wide range of equipment, from modular switches to dense server blades. The double‑perforated metal rear doors and two‑point keyed latch enhance security while supporting efficient airflow. Seismic resistance is validated through ISO‑17025 certified testing that complies with Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 requirements. The cabinet's pre‑drilled top attachment points enable easy integration with overhead bracing or pathway systems, reducing installation time and eliminating costly external engineering calculations. Primary and secondary anchorage options provide flexible floor‑mount solutions for any site layout. Cable management is built into the design with integrated top attachment points and a full complement of routing accessories. Users can add transport casters for initial placement and later replace them with static wheels for permanent setups. The cabinet's UL‑listed 2416 rating supports a static payload of 3,000 lb (1,360 kg), giving extra headroom for future expansion. Overall, the Z4‑22N‑103E‑E12 delivers a balanced blend of seismic protection, thermal performance, and modular flexibility. Its compatibility with CPI's design tools--including CAD, BIM, and Visio stencils--streamlines planning and deployment. By selecting this Seismic Cabinet, data center operators gain confidence that their critical infrastructure will endure both environmental and operational challenges.
