Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Features of the Z4‑22U‑103C‑E12 SeismicFrame® Cabinet
The Z4‑22U‑103C‑E12 delivers a robust custom seismic cabinet system designed for demanding 22U environments. Its solid construction aligns with the k&g cabinets standard for durability while providing a clean, front‑door‑free façade. Engineers appreciate the 1500 lb (680 kg) seismic equipment load that exceeds typical rack requirements. SeismicFrame® testing verifies compliance with Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 standards, ensuring the cabinet withstands simulated earthquake forces without permanent deformation. The double‑perforated metal rear doors promote efficient airflow while maintaining structural integrity. Integrated grounding and bonding features simplify compliance with UL Listed 2416 requirements. Thermal management is addressed through square‑punched rails that accommodate adjustable‑depth equipment mounting, reducing hot‑spot formation. A full suite of cable‑management accessories, including side panels and top‑panel routing, supports organized high‑density cabling. The Glacier White finish contributes to a professional aesthetic in any data‑center setting. Installation is streamlined by pre‑drilled top attachment points and transport casters, allowing rapid placement without external bracing calculations. Primary and secondary anchorage points give installers flexibility for floor‑anchored or overhead mounting configurations. The system eliminates the need for costly engineering studies while delivering reliable seismic protection. CPI's design tools--Visio stencils, CAD files, and BIM models--enable precise planning and seamless integration into existing projects. Global availability through authorized distributors ensures rapid delivery worldwide.
