Product Description
Featuring an industry-leading 1500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, the Z4-Series SeismicFrame® can also support an additional 100 lb (45 kg) top load for cabling. This cabinet was tested by a Telecommunications Carrier Group and ISO 17025 certified Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) to meet the Telcordia Technologies GR-63-CORE, Issue 4, April 2012, Sections 4.4 per Zone 4 requirements. GR-63-CORE seismic testing includes a series of physical shaker table tests, during which a loaded cabinet is placed through simulated earthquake conditions. Zone 4 testing includes the most severe test conditions, in which the cabinet must perform with limited movement and survive the test without permanent structural or mechanical damage, ensuring the internal equipment is not damaged.

Key Features of the Z4‑22U‑113C‑E12 SeismicFrame® Cabinet
The Z4‑Series Cabinet delivers a custom seismic cabinet system engineered for the most demanding data‑center environments. Built to the SeismicFrame® Cabinet System specifications, it provides robust protection that exceeds Zone 4 requirements. Its 43U height and 31.5" W x 47.3" D footprint accommodate high‑density server cabinet deployments. The cabinet supports an industry‑leading 1,500 lb (680 kg) equipment load, with UL Listed 2416 certification for a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) static payload. It meets Telcordia GR‑63‑CORE Zone 4 testing, ensuring equipment remains secure during seismic events. Integrated grounding and bonding further safeguard sensitive electronics. Adjustable‑depth mounting rails align with a variety of server cabinet configurations, while the 1200 mm depth option enables deeper modular switches and high‑performance compute nodes. Square‑punched rails and perforated doors promote efficient airflow throughout the enclosure. The design includes pre‑drilled top attachment points for overhead bracing when required. Installation is streamlined with floor anchorage that eliminates the need for costly external bracing calculations. Transport casters simplify positioning during initial setup, and primary and secondary anchorage points offer flexible mounting options. The cabinet's single‑point keyed latch front door and double‑point latch rear doors provide secure, yet rapid, access. CPI supplies a full suite of thermal, cable‑management, and monitoring accessories compatible with the Z4‑Series. Design tools such as CAD, BIM, and Visio stencil files enable precise planning. Expert consultation services are available to tailor the custom seismic frame cabinets to specific project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
