Product Description
Monitored eConnect® PDUs provide remote power monitoring to the input and branch circuit level, making it possible to obtain and manage power consumption at the cabinet level.
Key Features and Benefits
- Reduced Networking Costs and Complexity – Secure Array® allows the use of a single IP address for up to 48 connected PDUs (32 when electronic locks are integrated). Second IP address for the entire array provides failover capability.
- Resistance to High Temperature – Marketleading temperature ratings of up to 149°F (65°C) ensures reliability when mounted toward hot aisles.
- Simplified Load Balancing – Phase-balance outlets on three-phase models ensure equal loading across all phases; allows use of shorter equipment power cords for better cable and airflow management.
- No Accidental Disconnections – Patented, low-profile locking outlets prevent accidental disconnections without requiring special cords
- Easy Identification of Failover Unit – Redundancy Pack includes 2 PDUs (one in Black and one in Glacier White) for easy identification of the primary and secondary unit.
- Electronic Lock Integration – Patented technology seamlessly integrates PDU, environmental sensors and electronic locks into a single hardware and software solution
- Gigabit Ethernet – Ensures compatibility with enterprise routers and switches.
- Latest UL Compliance – Meets UL and IEC 62368 for compliance with new listing requirements for North America and the European Union.
- Cabinet Preinstallation – Complete ecosystem ships ready for IT equipment integration, and saves deployment time and reduces packaging waste.
- High Power Configurations – Configurations supporting up to 100A Input provide an optimized solution for GPU & AI based applications. 30A branch circuit breakers provide flexibility when plugging high power IT equipment.
Product Information
Advanced PDU Security and Monitoring Features
The EA-3008-CE Monitored eConnect® PDU delivers comprehensive remote power monitoring at the input and branch circuit levels, enabling precise management of power consumption in cabinet environments. With Secure Array® IP consolidation, it reduces networking costs and complexity by allowing up to 48 PDUs to share a single IP address. This PDU supports high-temperature operations up to 149°F (65°C), ensuring reliability in demanding data center conditions.
UL 3008 compliance guarantees that this power distribution unit meets rigorous safety standards for North American and European markets. The phase-balance locking outlets facilitate equal load distribution across all phases, preventing overloads and enhancing operational stability. These features make the PDU ideal for applications requiring consistent and safe power distribution under varying loads.
Enhanced PDU security is achieved through patented low-profile locking outlets that prevent accidental disconnections without special cords. Integration with electronic locks and environmental sensors provides a unified hardware and software solution for infrastructure protection. Gigabit Ethernet ensures secure and fast data transmission, supporting protocols like SNMPv3 and RESTful API for robust network management.
Efficient power distribution is maintained with 30 C13 and 12 C19 locking outlets on a three-phase system, delivering 17.2kW capacity from a 60A input. The redundancy pack includes one black and one glacier white PDU for easy identification of primary and secondary units in failover scenarios. This setup supports high-density applications, including AI and GPU workloads, with field-replaceable controllers for simplified maintenance.
The monitored PDU’s LCD display and onboard GUI provide real-time insights into power usage, while environmental sensor readiness allows for comprehensive facility monitoring. Its compliance with UL and IEC 62368 standards ensures adherence to latest listing requirements, safeguarding your investment. By optimizing power distribution and security, this PDU helps data centers maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
