Product Information
Key Features of the Evolution Horizontal Cable Manager
The 35441‑E03 Evolution® Horizontal Cable Manager delivers a streamlined solution for cable organization in 3U‑high, 19‑inch EIA racks. Constructed in Glacier White, the chassis measures 5.2 inches (132 mm) in height and extends 8.2 inches (208 mm) deep, providing ample space for dense cable routing. Its single‑sided design simplifies installation while maintaining a clean front profile. Integrated plastic T‑shaped cable guides direct patch cords and jumper cables as they enter and exit the manager, reducing clutter and minimizing strain on fibers. A contoured snap‑on front door opens upward or downward, granting quick access for maintenance or re‑configuration without removing the entire unit. This modular approach supports rapid deployment in data‑center and enterprise networking environments. The Evolution® manager aligns seamlessly with Oberon® chassis architectures, enabling a unified cable pathway across vertical and horizontal enclosures. By pairing the horizontal manager with Oberon® chassis, users achieve consistent grounding and bonding while preserving optimal airflow. This compatibility enhances overall system reliability and simplifies inventory management. Designed with the concept of cable evolution in mind, the unit accommodates future upgrades such as higher‑bandwidth fiber and emerging high‑speed interconnects. The optional solid, brush, or grommet chassis styles provide thermal isolation where needed, supporting the growing power densities of AI and HPC workloads. Engineers can thus future‑proof installations while maintaining a compact rack footprint. Chatsworth Products (CPI) backs the Evolution® Horizontal Cable Manager with global availability and rapid customization options to meet specific project requirements. Technical documentation, including data sheets and installation instructions, is accessible through the CPI product portal for swift integration. Partnering with CPI ensures long‑term support and expertise for high‑performance data‑center environments.
