Product Description
The CCS-EFX is manufactured from a combination of strong, lightweight aluminum sheet and plenum-rated composite materials for maximum strength at minimal weight. CCS-EFX is packaged in a single carton for easy handling and includes installation hardware.
Key Features and Benefits
- Cable openings on the front are sized to fit 48 patch cords, twice the capacity of the CCS; openings have rounded edges to protect cable and will not deform or break
- Cable openings on front of CCS-EFX align with rack-mount unit on rack, allowing cables to exit by rack-mount unit
- The front door hinges open to the right or left and locks in the closed position to protect cables
- Open cabling section on the rear of CCS-EFX allows large premise cable bundles to exit the manager into the rack-mount space. Spin closure latches secure cables
- Attach to 3”D (80 mm) Standard Racks, Universal Racks or QuadraRack
- Mounting hardware and doors are included

Key Features of the CCS‑EFX Section
The CCS‑EFX Combination Cabling Section (part number 40098‑715) provides a dedicated vertical cable management solution for 51U racks. Its extended‑finger design creates additional clearance for large cable bundles while maintaining a compact footprint. This vertical cable management section improves airflow and simplifies high‑density wiring. Constructed from lightweight aluminum sheet and plenum‑rated composite, the CCS‑EFX balances strength with weight savings. The extended fingers act as reinforced guides that protect cables during installation and service. This robust build supports demanding data‑center environments without compromising structural integrity. Front cable openings are sized for up to 48 patch cords, delivering twice the capacity of standard sections. The openings feature rounded edges that safeguard cables from deformation. The extended‑fingers cable management design also aligns with rack‑mount units, allowing cables to exit directly from the equipment. All necessary mounting hardware and lockable doors are included, enabling rapid deployment in 3‑D (80 mm) standard or QuadraRack frames. The section attaches securely to vertical rails, preserving rack stability while routing cables. Installation requires only a single carton, reducing handling time and labor. CPI's digital design tools, including Visio stencils and CAD blocks, let engineers model the CCS‑EFX within enclosure layouts. Technical documentation such as data sheets and installation guides are available for download. CPI's global support network ensures expert assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
