Key Features of the MCS‑EFX Master Cabling Section
The 40092‑705 model delivers a compact, single‑sided cabling solution that integrates seamlessly into standard 48U racks. Its patented 1U‑spaced guide fingers provide precise alignment for patch cords, reducing clutter and improving airflow. Designed for data‑center environments, the section supports up to 1,052 Cat 5e cables per side when filled to 40 percent capacity. Vertical cable management is essential for high‑density deployments, and this product eliminates the need for separate horizontal managers. The evenly spaced finger guides align with rack units, allowing technicians to route cables directly in the vertical plane. This approach simplifies maintenance and accelerates deployment cycles. Extended‑fingers cable management enhances flexibility by extending the guide profile beyond the standard reach. The extended geometry accommodates larger connectors and provides additional clearance for cable bends. As a result, installers experience fewer snag points and smoother cable pulls. The assembly is constructed from UL 94V‑0‑rated composite material, meeting strict plenum fire‑code requirements. A reversible aluminum SwitchGate Door® with integrated handle protects the interior while preserving easy access. Edge‑protected pass‑through ports and optional Saf‑T‑Grip® straps secure cables on double‑sided configurations. Pre‑assembly reduces installation time and presents a uniform appearance within the rack. Engineers can download Visio, CAD, and BIM files to integrate the section into detailed designs. CPI's global distributor network ensures rapid availability and expert support for every project.
