Product Description
The Model 1074 Wi-Tile™ series suspended ceiling enclosure mounts and secures 5G/LTE/CBRS Small Cell radio units (RUs), Wi-Fi Access Points (APs), and other telecom gear into suspended ceilings. The enclosure replaces a standard 2 x 2 ft. ceiling tile and must be supported by the ceiling structure. This series includes an adjustable depth swing down panel which permits simplified mounting and access to RUs and APs. The model 1074 features an interchangeable door, available with either a general use, low loss plastic dome to mount RUs inside the enclosure, an RU-specific door with a cutout to expose the antenna surface of the RU slightly below the ceiling, or a solid metal door for mounting antennas on the door surface.
Key Features and Benefits
- 2 x 2 ft. ceiling tile telecommunications enclosure, designed to secure and protect one or more 5G/LTE/CBRS Small Cell and Wi-Fi APs and associated networking components and cables
- Designed for installing both plenum-rated and non-plenum rated powered equipment in the plenum space, in a code compliant manner
- UL listed and designed to meet National Electric Code paragraph 300-22(C) for use in the above-ceiling (plenum) space. Metal enclosures satisfy UL 2043, Fire Test for Heat and Visible Smoke Release
- Interchangeable doors allow for Radio Unit and Access Point changes and upgrades without removing the enclosure from the ceiling
- Convenient swing down panel for ease of access and maintenance (in -SCDOME models only)
- Large back-box to dissipate heat generated by Radio Units and Access Points
- Enclosure back-box is an effective particle, dust and smoke barrier to simplify ICRA procedure compliance in healthcare environments

Key Features of the 1074‑06‑ANTMNT Swing‑Down Design
The Oberon® Wi‑Tile™ 1074‑06‑ANTMNT is a purpose‑built wireless ceiling enclosure that replaces a standard 2 x 2 ft. ceiling tile while providing a secure housing for radio units and access points. Its robust aluminum back‑box creates a fire‑rated barrier that meets NEC and UL requirements, protecting equipment in plenum spaces. Engineers appreciate the interchangeable door options that allow quick upgrades without removing the entire enclosure. Swing down ceiling panels are integrated into the -ANTMNT model, delivering effortless access for maintenance and rapid equipment swaps. The hinged panel lowers smoothly, eliminating the need for specialized tools or ceiling removal during service visits. This design reduces downtime and supports high‑density deployments where accessibility is critical. As a dedicated 5G Small Cell enclosure, the unit accommodates both LTE and CBRS radios, supporting carrier‑grade performance in dense indoor environments. The enclosure's large back‑box dissipates heat efficiently, helping maintain optimal operating temperatures for high‑power small cells. Its UL‑listed construction also satisfies ICRA requirements for healthcare and mission‑critical facilities. The enclosure is engineered as a suspended ceiling enclosure, meaning it can be installed in both plenum‑rated and non‑plenum ceiling grids without compromising code compliance. Firestop grommets provide a sealed path for cabling while preserving the integrity of the smoke barrier. Load capacity of up to 44 lb ensures the enclosure can support multiple antennas and associated hardware. Oberon® Wi‑Tile™ solutions are supported by CPI's digital design tools, including the Oberon Solutions Finder and product designer for fast configuration. Global availability through authorized distributors guarantees rapid delivery and localized support. The 1074‑06‑ANTMNT model exemplifies CPI's commitment to quality, customization, and reliable wireless infrastructure.
