- Manufactured from steel; spools are plastic
Product Information
Tool-Free Drop Tool Features and Benefits
The tooless radius drop provides a streamlined solution for guiding cables as they transition onto a cable runway. By maintaining a consistent 3‑in. bend radius, it protects fiber and copper assemblies from excessive stress. Engineers appreciate the reduction in cable strain, which contributes to longer service life and higher network reliability. Designed for seamless integration, the device attaches directly to existing cross members without requiring additional hardware. It aligns with both Universal and Adjustable cable runways, ensuring versatility across data center, colocation, and hyperscale environments. The cross member interface supports widths from 4 in. to 36 in., allowing precise placement for any rack configuration. Installation is accomplished with a simple drop tool that slides into pre‑drilled slots, eliminating the need for screws or wrenches. The tool‑free approach reduces labor time and minimizes the risk of installation errors. Maintenance crews can reposition the radius drop quickly, adapting to evolving cable layouts with minimal disruption. The cable runway radius drop incorporates dual ABS spools of 1.4 in. (36 mm) height and 1 in. (25 mm) diameter to separate and guide individual bundles. These spools, together with Saf‑T‑Grip slots, secure cables while preserving the specified bend radius across the runway. Overall cable management benefits include cleaner pathways, reduced airflow obstruction, and improved cooling efficiency. Customers can select from a range of finishes, including black, Glacier White, and gray, to match enclosure aesthetics. Width options span from 4 in. (102 mm) to 36 in. (914 mm), providing flexibility for diverse enclosure dimensions.
