Product Information
Key Benefits of the Oberon® Hi‑Point™ 905 Mount
The Oberon® Hi‑Point™ 905 provides a low‑profile enclosure that recesses the access point, giving a clean aesthetic while protecting the device from accidental damage. Its design supports both wall‑mounted and open‑ceiling applications, making it ideal for 905 ceilings where space is at a premium. The hinged cover locks securely, ensuring that hi point access equipment remains fixed during maintenance or vibration events. Construction uses 20‑ga. white powder‑coated steel for the base and cover, delivering durability without adding unnecessary weight. Knockout options include trade conduit and keystone jack modules, allowing structured cabling to be terminated inside the mount. All locks are keyed alike, with custom key options available for enterprise security policies. The mount de‑rates the operating temperature range of the access point by approximately 10 degreesC, enhancing reliability in demanding environments. By routing cables through the interior of the 905, clutter is reduced and airflow is preserved, supporting the cooling strategies of modern data centers. The compact dimensions (11.12 x 11.00 x 2.34 in. / 282 x 279 x 59 mm) enable installation in tight rack or conduit spaces. Compatibility spans leading vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, and other major AP manufacturers, ensuring that hi point access solutions can be deployed without additional adapters. The accessory 39‑905‑HCPLATE extends support to open‑ceiling conduit installations, providing flexibility for diverse architectural layouts. CPI's global network of distributors offers rapid customization to match specific project requirements. Overall, the Oberon® Hi‑Point™ 905 streamlines deployment, protects valuable Wi‑Fi equipment, and maintains the performance of 905 ceilings installations, aligning with CPI's commitment to quality, reliability, and customer‑focused engineering.
