Product Description
Oberon’s Netpoint 3036 Series Wireless Bollard is ideal for extending wireless and Wi-Fi coverage into open public spaces such as parks, outdoor malls, and bus stops, where mounting on buildings or light poles is not possible. This rugged locking fiberglass bollard is designed to protect and conceal wireless gear, antennas, connectors and cables in just about any open public venue.
NOTE: 6 GHz Access Points (e.g. Wi-Fi 6E) may only operate outdoors in the United States in the Standard Power mode (requiring AFC coordination). Low Power Indoor (LPI) Access Points are restricted to indoor only operation.

Technical Specifications
- Design: Locking, heavy-duty, large diameter, tapered, fiberglass Wireless bollard for ground-level installations. Protect and secure outdoor wireless access points and associated antennas, network and power connections in public spaces. Designed to protect wireless network equipment, antennas and associated components. Designed for permanent AC line voltage and low voltage installations. Interior steel equipment stand with mounting brackets for mounting wireless equipment
- Performance: Designed to protect equipment from tampering, abuse, and weather. NEMA 3R performance for indoor/outdoor environments. Fiberglass bollard construction minimizes wireless signal loss
- Installation: Installation requires a poured concrete pedestal to anchor and support the bollard. Minimum size for concrete pedestal is 16” (406 mm) diameter or square. Stub conduit through the pedestal to deliver cabling. See the installation instructions for details. Can also be used to replace an Oberon 3032 Bollard to accommodate larger wireless network equipment
- Equipment Support: Equipment is supported on an internal, vertical steel mounting pole using your choice of two included equipment mounting brackets. The brackets attach to the pole with included U-bolts and can be adjusted in height and orientation on/around the pole. Brackets include a flat plate that mounts vertically to the side of the pole allowing AP attachment to the side of the pole and a right-angle bracket that mounts vertically to the side of the pole and can be oriented to cantilever from the side of the pole or over the top of the pole to position an AP at the top of the pole.
- Physical Security: The bollard sleeve aligns with the base at four points and engages with a twist motion. The bollard sleeve secures to the base with a keyed lock
