Retrofit Trims for Oberon In-Plane Mounts 1440, 1442, 1443, 1444. Use these trims to upgrade existing mounts with new APs. Trims include an AP-specific cutout and mounting bracket and torsion spring attachment. Select the trim to match the AP.

The Oberon® Retrofit Trims 144X provide a streamlined path to modernizing legacy wireless enclosures without removing the existing mount. Designed specifically for the 1440‑1444 series, each trim matches the precise dimensions of the In‑Plane™ mounting plate. This ensures that the new access point aligns perfectly with the enclosure's structural grid. With a catalog of 21 AP‑specific configurations, the retrofit trims cover leading vendors such as Arista, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper and Ruckus, simplifying parts management for multi‑vendor environments. The AP‑specific cutout and mounting bracket are engineered to secure the radio while maintaining optimal airflow. Selecting the correct trim eliminates the need for custom fabrication and reduces installation time. All steel trims are powder‑coated white to meet UL 94‑5VA standards, while the optional -FXL plastic cover uses opaque ABS that blends with the enclosure interior. The robust construction resists corrosion and mechanical stress common in high‑density data centers. These material choices align with Oberon technical guidelines for long‑term reliability. Installation is performed by attaching the torsion spring to the existing In‑Plane™ mount, then sliding the trim into place with a single hand motion.
