A fast-growing online food services company was building a new industrial facility that required critical IT equipment to be deployed directly on the manufacturing floor while protecting IT in food production. Challenges included strict sanitation requirements, limited floor space, high-capacity cooling needs, and the risk of equipment damage during frequent hose-down cleanings.
Through a collaborative design process, a custom modular industrial enclosure solution was developed to safeguard and cool high-density network equipment without sacrificing production space. The design incorporated dual high-capacity air conditioning units, reinforced panels, and specialized anchoring and airflow strategies to ensure reliability for edge computing in industrial environments.
