1074 Overview

The locking Model 1074 series suspended ceiling Wi-Tile™ enclosure mounts and secures Small Cell access points (APs), Wi-Fi APs, and general purpose telecom gear, into suspended ceilings. The enclosure replaces a standard 2 x 2 ft. ceiling tile and must be supported by the ceiling structure. Mount and protect up to four APs and their antennas. This series includes a convenient swing down panel which permits easy access to APs, and allows the APs to be mounted at the desired depth within the enclosure for optimum wireless coverage. Available with either a metal door for mounting antennas, or an ABS plastic dome for mounting AP and antennas inside the enclosure.

Effective January 1 2020, the model 1074-04 and 1074-06 will become a Minimum Order Required (MOR) product. Oberon will no longer stock these products. Please contact customer service for the Minimum Order requirement. In place of the 1074 -04 and -06 series, Oberon’s Model 1074-SC -04 and -06 series will satisfy many customers’ requirement for a locking ceiling zone enclosure, and provides a swing down interior panel for simplified access and maintenance of internal equipment. The door for the 1074-SC series is the same size as the 1074-04 and -06 series. Oberon will continue to offer retrofit doors for installed 1074-04 and -06 enclosures. • Model 1074-SC-__-DOME has a vented UL 94-5VA ABS Plastic dome, which is virtually transparent to wireless signals
• Model 1074-SC-06-ANT has a vented metal door with openings for multiple external antennas
• Includes four 1 in. trade size firestop grommets for cable egress openings
• Construction: White, 10 ga. powder-coated aluminum back-box and flange, white, 10 ga. powder-coated aluminum door. Swing down panel is galvanized steel
• Enclosure shall be supported by the building ceiling structural system, not tile grid work
• Maximum weight inside enclosure is 25 lbs.
• Size: Flange is 23.75 x 23.75 in. (610 x 610 mm). Enclosure is 22.7 x 22.7 in. (577 x 577 mm), Model 1074-04 is 4-1/2 in. (114 mm) deep. Model 1074-06 is 6-1/2 in. (165 mm) deep. Model 1074-__-SC-DOME has 20 x 20 x 2 in. (508 x 508 x 51 mm) dome
